Will a $2 ticket make you a multimillionaire? As they say in the lottery business, "it could happen to you."

After no one matched all five numbers plus the Mega Ball in the Tuesday, Aug. 27, Mega Millions drawing for $582 million, the jackpot shot up to $627 million for Friday, Aug. 30. Winning numbers for Friday were 10-17-20-24-54 and the Mega Ball was 8. Megaplier was 4x.

No one matched Friday's numbers. While those numbers mean there’s another rollover, it wasn't all bad news: A Publix in Plantation resulted in a secondary win. According to theFlorida Lottery, Publix, 1181 S. University Drive, Plantation, sold a winning ticket that matched five numbers and is worth a cool $1 million. It was a Quick Pick ticket. Another ticket from Wisconsin matched five numbers plus the Megaplier to win $4 million, according to Mega Millions' site.

Plus, the rollover brings the jackpot closer to another billion-dollar prize.

The total would have a cash option of $309.4 million if the winner(s) opts for a one-time lump sum, according to megamillions.com. Now the grand prize inches higher in the Top 10 biggest lottery jackpots in U.S. history.

In case you’re wondering, Tuesday's winning numbers were 16-18-21-54-65 and the Mega Ball was 5. Megaplier was 2x. Though the numbers meant another rollover, it wasn’t all bad news: There were two big winners in Tuesday's drawing, both from tickets purchased in South Carolina. One of those tickets matched 5 plus the Megaplier for a $2 million prize. The other ticket matched 5 for $1 million.
